This is a very nice totally original M1916 holster, made by Sears Saddlery Co. of Davenport, Iowa, offered in very good condition. It is marked SEARS 1942 on the back, and embossed U S in an oval on the flap, indicating that this was a military issue holster. The leather body of the holster is now black, and looks to have been stained dyed during service, though it could be original, as it is very well done. The
